Liberals rejoiced on Sunday night when former talk show host Oprah Winfrey gave a speech at the Golden Globe Awards indicating that she may run for president in 2020. Now, however, her presidential dreams may be over before they even began after a disturbing video from her past came back to haunt her.
Taking a page out of Barack Obama’s playbook, Oprah is seen vilifying older white people as she race-baits as if it is her job. Oprah takes this way too far when she talks about her own solution to racism, as she clearly says that old white people “just need to die.”
Oprah's solution to racism; Old white people "just have to die".

The Daily Caller reported that Oprah made these comments in 2013 after she was asked by BBC reporter Will Gompertz about racism and how it has changed over the course of generations. When she responded by admitting that things have “gotten better,” Gompertz asked, “Are you saying problem solved?”
“I’m saying problem not solved. I’m saying that, you know, that’s the beauty of a film like ‘The Butler,’ and it’s the beauty of a film like ’12 Years a Slave,’ and it’s the beauty of what we’re seeing on stage with Scottsboro Boys is that it allows people to see where the root of the problem started,” Oprah said. “It allows people to see, ‘Oh, that’s where it all started, this is how far we’ve come, and now this is how much farther we need to go.’”
“Of course problem is not solved,” she continued. “You know, as long as people can be judged by the color of their skin, problem’s not solved. As long as there are people who still, there’s a whole generation – I say this, you know, I said this, you know, for apartheid South Africa, I said this for my own, you know, community in the south–there are still generations of people, older people, who were born and bred and marinated in it, in that prejudice and racism, and they just have to die.”
Oprah’s full response begins at the 2:20 mark:
That certainly doesn’t sound very presidential to us!
Can you imagine what would happen if someone said an entire generation of black people had to die? All Hell would break lose! However, since Oprah was talking about older white Americans, she received virtually no backlash for this.
