President Trump touched down in South Korea at 12:18 p.m. local time on Tuesday, beginning a two-day state visit. It is the first “official visit” (as opposed to mere visit) by an American President since 1992.

The President’s first stop was in Camp Humphreys, in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province. There, he was welcomed by Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha and Korean ambassador to the U.S. Cho Yoon-je and his wife. While at Camp Humphreys, President Trump addressed American and Korean servicemen and had lunch.

From there, Trump headed via helicopter to the South Korean capital city of Seoul to attend the official welcoming ceremony at the presidential office of Cheong Wa Dae.

The Korean peninsula is a major part of the President’s 14-day trip to Asia, which began Sunday in Japan. Strengthening international resolve to denuclearize North Korea is in fact one of the three goals of the President’s trip. (The others, according to WhiteHouse.gov, are “promoting a free and open Indo-Pacific region” and “advancing American prosperity through fair and reciprocal trade.”

The President in fact gave not-so-subtle warnings to North Korea’s diminutive dictator, Kim Jong-un, upon his arrival in Asia.

Beyond North Korea, South Korea and the US are also in the process of modifying the Korea-US Free Trade Agreement. The welcoming ceremony, as can be seen from the pictures that follow, as well as the VIDEO BELOW, was grandiose, traditional and elegant.

Frankly, President Trump looked “Presidential” as heck … and need we even bother pointing out how beautiful and elegant First Lady Melania Trump looked. Therefore, the #FakeNews media is avoiding showing you these scenes … but we aren’t. 17 screenshot images of the ceremony welcoming President Trump and the First Lady to South Korea follow.
